Easy and Delicious Pork Chops

4-5 (1-inch thick) boneless pork chops, trimmed
2-3 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
Onion salt (to taste)
1 large can sliced mushrooms
1 packet pork gravy
2 regular-size cans Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 medium onion (optional)

Brown butter in an electric skillet until brown and
foamy. Season pork chops with onion salt and pepper.
Add pork chops to skillet and cover, turning
occasionally (brown both sides well). When cooked
through, transfer to oven-proof dish and place in warm oven.

Pour entire can of sliced mushrooms (including water
the mushrooms are packed in) into pan to de-glaze,
add onions to sauté (if desired). Mix in cans of
condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (no need
to dilute, just dump in the cans!) and add pork
gravy packet. Stir thoroughly and simmer until
a smooth, dark-brown gravy forms. (Season
with onion salt, if needed.)

Remove pork chops from oven and pour gravy over top
before serving.
