Fragrant Rice in Lotus Leaf

I manage to find this recipe but havent try it yet, i have eaten this dish in a restaurant, very nice.

Fragrant Rice in Lotus Leaf


Ingredients

1 pc of lotus leaf (soak in water and drain dry)
250gm cooked rice (steam your rice first)
2 tbsp of fried onion oil
2 tbsp of light soya sauce (optional: dark soya sauce)
20 gm of dried shrimp (wash water then drain dry)
15 gm of shrimp paste powder
20 gm of dried chinese mushroom (soak, cut into cube)
20 gm of chinese sausage (remove skin, cut into cube)
20 gm of ham (diced)
20 gm of carrot (cut into cube)
5 gm of fish floss

Method:
1. Use a dry cloth to wipe off the water in the lotus leaf.

2. Mix well all the ingredients together.

3. Open up the lotus leaf, then place the well-mixed ingredient onto the leaf.

4. Wrap them up, then insert the ending part of the leaf.

5. Bring water to boil, until boiling hot, put in the wrapped lotus leaf with the folding end on the steaming tray.

6. Let it steam for 20 mins until fragrant.

7. Ready to serve.
