Ingredients
1/2 chicken (2 lbs)
7-8 cloves garlic
10 slices ginger
2 red chilli
3 stalk basil
Seasonings:
1/2 cup of sesame oil
1 cup of wine
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
*1 cup is abt 250 ml
Procedures:
1. Clean the chicken and cut into pieces 3 cm wide.
2. Heat a cassserole dish, add sesame oil and heat again. Stir fried garlic and ginger until brown.
3. Add chicken and stir fry over high heat until chicken turn white. Add wine, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to boil.
4. Cover and cook for about 20 mins until done. Serve in the casserole dish
Note:
1. The traditional way is to add one cup of each seasoning, now we usually want to reduce the salt taste.
2. Chinese medicine herbs may added if you prefer.

hi there,
i would very much like to try this dish but in the ingredients list there was no wine stated. how much wine to use? for the 3 stalks of basil, when do we add it in?
sorrie, miss the seasoning part, already added in, as for basil & chilli, are garnishing in this recipe.
